This book comes to serve the teaching of the course "Introduction to the Principles of Computer Science", approaching topics of both Theoretical and Applied Computer Science. The first part covers topics of Theoretical Computer Science - from the Problem to the Algorithm and from there to its Programming and Applications - through which the development of analytical and synthetic thinking of students is sought.
