Magnetic Reward Table

A proven and effective method of learning the basic rules of behavior is the magnetic reward board. It is a specially designed educational means of encouragement, which has been used for years abroad and is recommended by educational institutions as it brings positive results.

The parent decides together with the child what the child's daily goals will be and with each successful effort, a small reward follows for the child. With this goal-reward pattern, the child becomes responsible and consistent in his obligations, while at the same time he acquires a sense of self-worth.

How does it work:

To initially familiarize the child with the reward chart, the parent assigns him 2-3 goals to complete using the target magnets on the chart. Over time, the goals can be increased or new goals can be added according to the needs of each family.

For each accomplished goal, the parent fills in a yellow star on the board, while for each unfulfilled goal, he puts a blue star. At the end of the week the stars are counted and if the yellow stars reach the target pre-decided by the parent and the child, then the child receives a reward.

The magnetic board is suitable for children over 3 years old and can be adapted to both the needs of the parent and the child and contribute to their proper development by reinforcing the correct behavior.
