Social and Political Education of E Primary School

The book Social and Political Education (Primary E) is structured in such a way that the main objective of the course, which is the social and political education of the Greek citizen, is approached in a learning context that favors the mental, emotional, social and moral student development. It contains a total of 21 chapters, together with those of the evaluation-recapitulation ("What I have learned so far" and "In brief") of each module. These chapters are divided into 4 large modules and their teaching requires a total of 28 teaching hours. The modules are: A We are all citizens, B We have rights and obligations, C We live in a democracy, D We participate in decision-making. The main characters who guide the students are Danae and Alexandros, students of the 5th grade. A special element used is the invitation of visitors to the class. there is the possibility, the teacher could invite natural persons in the place of the "virtual" visitors (for example a lawyer or the Children's Advocate...) and thus the experiential interaction between visitors and students can be better achieved.
