The book of the Modern Greek Language that you hold in your hands and will accompany you throughout the year.

You will find that Modern Greek is not just a course full of grammatical and syntactic phenomena and rules. She is the one who teaches you to speak and write correctly through a variety of texts and fun pictures. These will "travel" you to many places, will bring you into contact with different people, will challenge you to think and express your opinions and feelings in collaboration with the teacher and your classmates.

The Student's Book consists of nine (9) sections, each of which has as its core a topic that concerns you and concerns your relationships with family, friends, school and society in general. By studying the introductory texts (literary, scientific, journalistic, but also sketches, photos, websites, etc.) of each unit, you will first understand and discuss their content. Then you will search and discover with the help of your teacher their grammatical and syntactic structure, the way their words are formed, the vocabulary related to the topic of the unit and the organization of the meaning of these and other texts. After mastering all this, the ultimate goal is to produce your own texts in spoken and written language and to communicate not only with your peers in the classroom, but also with others outside it (via the internet, by letters, etc.).
