Religious A High School Orthodox Faith and Worship

The thematic axis that runs through the class of AD Lyceum concerns Religion and Modern man. Students will get to know the person as a person who seeks, knows, communicates and acts. They will approach faith, worship, prayer, salvation through his religion. They will delve into the concepts of church, thanksgiving, unity, identity and the law. They will embrace values such as freedom, love, equality, human rights and consider the responsibility of modern man for their realization in the world. They will confront the concept of evil and approach it in all its manifestations, from sin, injustice, fanaticism, enslavement, to the "ultimate enemy" death. They will be guided by the Orthodox Christian faith, but will also approach with an exploratory spirit the teachings of the other Christian traditions and the main religions of modern societies. They will approach the classroom material collaboratively with free spirit, imagination, critical thinking, dialogue and, above all, without prejudices. Because the concepts of the religious lesson are not only approached mentally but also address the emotion, the personal experiences and experiences of the students play an important role.
