This teaching material is recommended for the teaching of English in the General Lyceum, in order to offer students the opportunity to use their existing language communication skills and to be actively involved in activities aimed at further linguistic, social and their psycho-emotional development.

The material is divided into thematic sections. Each module includes activities of comprehension and production of spoken and written language in the foreign language, which are designed taking into account the prior knowledge and skills of students and aim to cultivate their language communication skills in the foreign language through authentic communication circumstances. Specifically, students are asked to read, write, converse, understand, observe, search, present and process information critically and creatively, individually or in groups. In this way, they will have the opportunity to be informed and reflect on issues of general and special interest that are directly related to their daily lives.
