This course aims to acquire knowledge and develop skills, values and attitudes that enable the student to observe, describe, interpret and to some extent predict the functioning, relationships and interactions of the natural and man-made environment. Guided by the Book and partnered by classmates and the teacher, each student will investigate the world around them. On this "trip" he will need to do research, write texts, make plans and constructions, read books, work on computers, use materials, maps, dictionaries, talk to acquaintances, experts, scientists and visit places. This journey of human knowledge never ends. The Book has seven sections and each section is divided into chapters. Each chapter contains individual and group activities, while additional activities (research, problems, games, constructions, etc.) are found in the Workbook.
