Art is not only the creation of beautiful and expressive works of art but also a process through which we explore the environment and ourselves. It is a reflection of our actions and beliefs and is part of our culture. Participating in the process of artistic creation offers us experiences and knowledge, cultivates our communication with other people and gives us the opportunity to recognize our feelings and abilities.

With the Visual Arts course we get to know the Fine Arts, sharpen our observation and develop our critical eye. We learn to distinguish the particular characteristics of works of art, to form personal views around works and creators and to enjoy artistic creation with both our minds and our senses.

The book of Fine Arts deals with the creation of works of art and their aesthetics. Its material combines theory and practice and is divided into 4 teaching units:
THE 1st section analyzes Morphological Elements of visual language.
THE 2nd section presents Applied Arts and useful works.
THE 3rd section refers to the ways in which New Technologies are used by the visual arts and contemporary creation.
Finally, the 4th section extends to Contemporary Forms of Visual Arts and is completed with the theoretical approach of the similarities and differences of the Fine Arts but also their role in shaping human culture.

It is worth approaching the phenomenon of art with the innocence of the child, the research look of the scientist but also the open spirit of the great artists.
