Each chapter begins with an introductory paragraph or two that describes the subject we will deal with and recalls some prior background knowledge. The key relationships of each chapter are highlighted with a light blue background. The solved examples serve two purposes. They bring the student into contact with the real dimensions of the quantities and indicate a way of working to solve the exercises. At the end of the theory of each chapter there is a summary that includes the main conclusions of the chapter. Activities, questions, exercises and problems follow.
