History of the Modern and Contemporary World C Lyceum

This manual seeks to approach the international events of the newer and modern era in a systematic and objective manner, far from feelings of fanaticism or intolerance. Greek history is examined within the wider context of world history and especially European history, of which it is an organic part.

The text of the manual has been compiled under the joint responsibility of all authors. In particular, however, Ioannis Koliopoulos has been responsible for the writing of the chapters concerning the period up to the conclusion of the Treaty of Lausanne (Chapters A-C), until the end of the Second World War (Chapters D-E) Konstantinos Svolopoulos , of the corresponding one concerning the post-war period (Chap. F) by Evanthis Chatzivasileiou. Cultural developments (Chapter G) were the subject of Charitos Scholinaki's writing. The composition of the historical and pedagogical material included in the professor's book was the object of Theodoros Nimas' care.
