Kefalonia is known for its wonderful beaches. But it also has a very interesting hinterland, with high mountains, forests and large undisturbed areas, which make it an ideal destination for hikers. Ithaca has a very interesting morphology and is suitable for nice walks with amazing views. The paths are maintained, some are marked. Several walking routes are suggested on both islands and marked with a green underline on the map and numbered to refer to information on the side.
