Thassos is a place endowed with natural resources and natural beauty. Forests, mineral wealth, marbles and more recently beaches have always attracted people with the main motive being the exploitation of its natural wealth. There are many signs in the landscape, ancient mining galleries and holes, ancient coast guard towers, remnants of mines of the last century, modern dams, coastal tourist nuclei. This map, made with the support and synergy of the Thassos Environmental Movement, suggests that we approach the island as tourists and hikers, discover paths in beautiful forests and cool ravines with waterfalls and pedestals, dive into natural marbles, go to natural marbles picturesque inland villages, to appreciate all that nature offers generously without consuming them. On the back of the map, an extensive presentation of the space and the routes with beautiful photos and concise texts.
