Religious 6th grade We discover images, faces and stories

In the 6th grade, which is the last grade of the elementary school, the students will acquire religious knowledge at a higher level than the previous grades. Through the thematic units, they will continue the investigation of the world of religion through texts, monuments, places and events as they have been reflected over time in the culture of our country, but also worldwide. Students will get to know the difficulties encountered by the first Christians, they will appreciate the influence of the Holy Bible on the culture and life of people and they will approach the Mystery of the Holy Eucharist as a central event of the life of the Church. They will get to know different Christian traditions and other religions in our country in order to find that respect for the "other" is a condition for harmonious coexistence. At the end of the cycle, with guiding monuments in which the Christian faith was captured, they will attempt an opening on the wider religious map from Greece to Europe and the entire world.
