Latin Grammar C Lyceum

The teaching of the Latin language aims to:

• for the students to get to know the Latin language and study its basic elements, without expanding into details, both at the level of the language system (grammar and syntax), as well as at the level of vocabulary and text comprehension,
• to become aware of the relationship between Latin and the ancient Greek language, so that they can distinguish their correspondences as well as their differences,
• to become familiar with texts of the Latin language and writing and to practice their understanding, always with the help of an appropriate linguistic notation.
