With the teaching of the French language in High School, the aim is for students to develop communication skills, and in particular:

– To understand and produce spoken and written language.
– To develop linguistic and sociolinguistic competence, i.e. to develop phonological, lexical and morphological skills.
– To familiarize themselves with different levels and types of speech.
– To develop pragmatic competence, i.e. to develop functional speech skills.
– To approach the language aesthetically.
